Dr. Jafari holds the position of Director General for Jordan Loan Guarantee Corp. (JLGC) and is the representative of Loan Guarantee Schemes in the MENA region at the World Bank. Throughout his career Dr. Jafari held multiple positions in the Jordan Deposit Insurance Corporation (JODIC), Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) in addition to several positions at the Central Bank of Jordan. Dr. Jafari holds a PhD in Finance from Manchester Business School.

Ms. Maha Ali

HE Ms. Ali served as Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply in 2015/2016, having worked at Jordan’s Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva. Prior to that, in 2010, she was appointed as the Ministry’s Secretary General. She holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering, an MBA and a Trade Policy Diploma. During her ministerial service, Ms. Ali was ranked the 8th most powerful Arab woman in government by Forbes Middle East / 2015.

Mr. Laith Al-Qasem has over 25 years of business and development experience. He identified, invested in and was involved in 19 start-up companies, several of which have become paragons of success. Mr. Al-Qasem is a member of the Jordan Economic and Social Council and has led and participated in several national economic development initiatives such as the Jordan Vision 2020, the National Agenda and the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Moreover, Mr. Al-Qasem is a board member of several national associations and NGOs.

MenaITech Founder and CEO is a career-long advocate of innovation who has worked to change the landscape of the MENA region’s technology and HR field for over a decade. In recognition of these and other efforts, he received an Honorary Doctorate in Human Resource Management from Oxford University in the UK. He is also the Chairman of the Information and Communication Association of Jordan “INTAJ”, along with being Chairman and Co-Founder of the region’s first Human Capital Forum. Dr. Hawamdeh holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Mutah.

The current CEO of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF), Ms. Qusaisieh is an active member of the Scientific Research Fund board of trusties, and a member of Al-Balqa’ Applied University board of trusties, and a member of College Council at faculty of Arts and Design at University of Jordan. She held the position of Director General of Jordan River Foundation where she played a key role in initiating and supporting youth empowerment and entrepreneurship programs. She holds a Master’s degree in management studies, with a focus on applying business process re-engineering on income-generating projects.

Mr. Maher Qadoura is a management consultant, serial entrepreneur, angel investor, public speaker and social influencer. Upon retiring as Accenture-Middle East managing partner, he established a number of professional services firms that became regional leaders in the sectors of strategy consulting, system integration and training. He invests and serves on the board of a number of companies in the sectors of knowledge economy, food and beverage, electro-mechanical, retail, micro finance and financial services, in addition to multiple NGOs.

The current CEO of the Saudi Jordanian Investment Fund, Mr. Omar AlWir has extensive experience in the banking and investment fields, working with major corporations in the field like Arab Bank Group and Capital Bank of Jordan, in addition to his role as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Singularity Advisors. Previously, Mr. Alwir was Assistant for Policy at the Office of His Majesty King Abdullah II and also served as Policy Advisor to the Minister of Finance, having also worked as Policy Advisor to the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation. Mr. Alwir graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and minors in history and psychology.
