ISSF and IFC Middle East have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on promoting entrepreneurship and sustainable private sector development in Jordan.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to strengthening Jordan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by enhancing access to early-stage financing for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Through this collaboration, IFC and ISSF aim to foster job creation, particularly for youth and women, support export-driven sectors and stimulate private investment across underserved regions.

Under the MOU, IFC and ISSF will engage in a series of joint initiatives and collaboration including capacity building, knowledge-sharing and synergizing efforts to mobilize private financing to Jordanian entrepreneurs. The partnership will also focus on strengthening policy and regulatory frameworks to attract new investors and co-financing innovative projects that contribute to inclusive economic growth.
